18th September 2020: Release of iSBEM_v5.6.b and iSBEM_v4.1.h

Public release of iSBEM_v5.6.b

iSBEM_v5.6.b implements the following modifications, which were primarily triggered by the requirements of the new National EPC Register in England and Wales:

  • An internet connection is no longer required to generate EPC XML files for buildings in England and Wales as EPCgen no longer needs to connect to the National Register’s servers to check the assessor’s accreditation status and the software version
  • Modified format for UPRN for EPCs in England and Wales
  • New parameter to input RRN of a previous EPC if a UPRN for the building is not available in England and Wales
  • New option to allow generation of EPC in England and Wales even if neither UPRN nor RRN of a previous EPC is available for the building
  • RRNs are now randomly generated for EPCs (and Recommendations Reports) in England and Wales and are no longer based on the UPRN and inspection date
  • Building owner’s details are no longer part of the input parameters and are no longer needed for output reports or XML files produced for any purpose of analysis, to avoid GDPR implications for data held by the registers

iSBEM_v5.6.b maintains the same purposes of analysis as those in iSBEM_v5.6.a.
