22nd December 2005: First DCLG-approved version of SBEM and iSBEM now available to download
We are pleased to announce the release of the first DCLG-approved version of SBEM and iSBEM. These are now available for download and can be used to help demonstrate compliance with the 2005/6 version of Part L2 of the Building Regulations. Please read the terms and conditions before downloading and using the software. We believe that the BRE SBEM development team, in conjunction with colleagues at Faber Maunsell and Arup, have produced a robust and useful tool. If however you find any apparent faults or problems, please use the Feedback system elsewhere on this site to report your concern. Alternatively, call the SBEM Helpline on 0870 460 8141. If further revisions become necessary to SBEM or other components of the suite, we will flag up revised versions through this Latest News page - please keep an eye on it. We will, however, keep such changes to a minimum.
